Chi Kung

15+ ADULT CHI KUNG CLASS

Chi Kung is an introspective approach to oneself, both energetically and spiritually, it can also help condition and build one's physical body from within. The principles of our Chi Kung are linked to the Wu Chi Concept and the Tao philosophy which also have a strong connection with the principles of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), making this a very holistic practice.

Chi Kung literally means working with Chi (Intrinsic Energy), a person who spends time and energy to develop and refine one-self with patience and perseverance is also working with Chi as well as developing their Kung-Fu, Chi Kung and Kung-Fu are also closely related particularly in our Kung-fu system.  Chi forms part of every living thing in the universe.  The "Wu Chi" Heaven or Universe, Earth and Person Chi Kung practise is a very simple and practical Chi Kung, it is a holistic practice that regulates and coordinates one's complete Chi functions. There are five aspects of regulation that encompass the practice of Wu Chi Chi Kung, regulation of the Body, mind, breathe, Chi (Intrinsic energy) and the Shen (Spirit of vitality).

Chi forms part of every living thing in the universe.  The "Wu Chi" Heaven or Universe, Earth and Person Chi Kung practise is a very simple and a practical Chi Kung, it is one of the fundamental Chi Kung practises taught in our school. As a holistic practice, Chi Kung requires to regulate and coordinate one's complete being from a Chi Kung standpoint of view, therefore, all its Chi functions and structures are aligned, stimulated, enhanced and balanced for optimal usage. There are five aspects of regulation that encompass the practice of Wu Chi Chi Kung, regulation of the Body, mind, breathe, Chi (Intrinsic energy) and the Shen (Spirit of vitality). Whether the Chi Kung is practised in a still or moving manner, the mind and body are integrated harmoniously encompassing many benefits.

A meditative relaxed and calm state of mind and body is acquired, the body is also properly aligned and centred. Just like our Tai Chi for health, all moving or still Chi Kung, requires the body to move gently with subtle coordinated movements, increasing and balancing your Chi Energy to improve your energetic body functions.

Chi is Cultivated, stored and mobilised to increase the flow of energy, this will improve your whole body system including all your organs, in turn, will improve your immune system at a cellular level and the clarity and unification of the mind and body.
