AIMA MEMBERSHIP
Become Part of AIMA
AIMA membership provides an ongoing connection to the Australian Institute of Martial Arts through either our training programs or our therapeutic massage services.
Membership is designed to encourage continuity, progression and long-term participation while providing members with access to appropriate benefits, discounts and services.
Membership Registration with AIMA is free.
Registration creates your AIMA member profile and allows you to proceed with the appropriate training membership or therapeutic massage membership option.
Registration itself does not require you to purchase a membership until you are ready to select the service or program that suits you.

12-Week Initial Membership Period
New Training Members commence with a minimum 12-week membership period.
The initial 12 weeks provides sufficient time for students to settle into their program, develop consistency and begin progressing through the structured training.
After the initial 12-week period, membership continues on an ongoing basis. Weekly and fortnightly payment options are available.
Members may pause or cancel their membership after the initial period in accordance with the AIMA Membership Conditions.
Full payment, pause and cancellation terms are provided to registered members through the AIMA Member Portal before subscription.
Ongoing Membership
Following completion of the initial 12-week period, members may continue training on an ongoing basis without having to repeatedly re-enrol for individual terms.
Members may pause or cancel their ongoing membership after completing the initial minimum period.
Where a membership has been cancelled and the student later returns, a new 12-week minimum membership period will apply when training recommences.
Membership Type
AIMA Training Membership is available as either:
Individual Membership — for one student enrolled in an AIMA training program.
Family Membership — for eligible immediate family members registering and training under the same family membership arrangement.
Family Membership may include parents, children, siblings or couples from the same immediate family household. Friends or unrelated training partners are not included under a Family Membership, although private group training may be arranged separately.
Family Membership rates are based on the combined number of weekly class attendances used by all registered family members. Each person's attendance counts as one class allocation, including where two or more family members attend the same class.
Training Membership Options
Membership options are available according to the number of classes attended each week.
One Class Per Week
Suitable for students training within one program or attending once weekly.
Two Classes Per Week
Provides additional training time or allows participation across compatible programs.
Three or More Classes Per Week
Available for students undertaking broader or more advanced training where appropriate.
The applicable membership fee is based on the selected training option and program.
Private Tuition
Private tuition is available separately for individuals and small private groups by arrangement.
Private tuition does not need to replace group membership and may also be used to supplement a member’s regular training.
Private Tuition Rates are charged separately from standard Training Membership Rates. Private Tuition Rates vary depending on whether the session is a one-off booking, the length of the session, and whether multiple sessions are booked consecutively.
