The founder of AIMA, Aldo Gentile is the Principal and (Sifu/ Master) of the school.
He welcomes everyone and is a kind and caring Sifu who is willing to impart his skills and knowledge with anyone who shows initiative and the willingness to learn.
Since 2003, based on the Gold Coast Queensland, the Australian Institute of Martial Arts (AIMA) has been providing many Martial/ Life Art programs for Self-defence, Martial Art Competition, Health and Fitness, such as Kung-fu, Kick Boxing, Boxing and Grappling, Tai Chi for Health and General Fitness, Strength and Conditioning training for hundreds of kids, adults and seniors.
What sets AIMA (Australian Institute of Martial Arts) apart from other martial art schools is that it delivers an original Internal Kung-fu system that encompasses a Martial/ Life Art, and all the programs delivered by AIMA are specially developed for specific martial skill outcomes. Sifu Aldo developed all these programs from his experience of martial arts in general but in particular from the level of skill and understanding of this original Internal Kung-fu system he has. The key point here is that this Internal System can offer any martial artist a different perspective to their style or system with the ability to internalise their methods and incorporate the martial/ life art philosophy. All AIMA's instructors are dedicated students themselves, still training, researching and refining their Kung-fu and when taking classes, they act and conduct themselves in the most professional manner, they respect and follow the theory, philosophy concepts, and principles of the art, in this way, the system will continue to thrive, keep growing and evolving.
