AIMA Instructors course gives the student an opportunity to become an instructor in a relatively short period of time under the supervision of an experienced teacher and active martial art school owner operator.

AIMA is a well established and family friendly school teaching many students over a number of years in the martial art industry. AIMA specialises in Kung Fu and Tai Chi however, it offers other disciplines, such as the combat sport styles of boxing, kickboxing and grappling as well as weaponry and specialised self-defence classes.

Adult and kids classes are available from as young as 4 years to 80+ years and are equally practical and beneficial for each age group and both genders.

The Kids Kung-Fu program has been developed with the ability to separate levels of particular different age groups.  There are 3 age groups linked to 3 levels. Level One: 4 - 6 yrs of age, Level Two: 7 - 10 yrs and Level Three 11 - 14 yrs.

We have found that 15 - 17 yrs of age students prefer to train with the adults and are able to understand and handle the physical and mental training required, it also helps them become more mature and responsible students, than when training solely with younger members. We also believe with proper guidance for some candidates, that they would be great assistant Instructors for the Junior levels.

AIMA adult programs include Kung-Fu, Tai Chi, Weapons and as mentioned earlier, other disciplines related to our combative sport programs.

Non martial art related programs include, Tui Na Massage, Tai Chi Chi Kung and other health and fitness training in general.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR

Our Instructors course will be delivered both on and off the job, students will be able to establish a consistent training schedule and at a certain level of the course, they may attend live AIMA member classes as an assistant (I-Kung) to the Sifu. This will serve as their practical on the job training, and an excellent learning curve for instructing.

All instructors (Si-Kung's) graduating the level one instructors course will be able to deliver the complete 3 levels of the Junior 4 Animal styles  and level one of the Adult Kung Fu program. Level 2 Instructors will then be able to instuct Level 2 of the Adult kung fu program, as the instructor obtains higher instructor levels, they will be able to teach the more adanced levels of kung-;fu as well as commence teaching the level one combative Sports programs. The higher the level of instructor the more programs and higher levels they can teach.

All the instructor course programs are develoled and will be delivered by Sifu Aldo. Instructors will be instructimg in AIMA branches.

If an instructor graduates to Sifu level, they will have the opportunity to open their own branch umder the umbrella of AIMA and become branch owners otherwise they can choose to continue as a Head Instructor under AIMA's own branches.  Branches will adhere to rules and regulations with standards and methods followed strictly to assure successful outcomes for both the new Sifu and AIMA,

AIMA will firstly be looking to expand their team of instructos and branches to suit in the central and Northern Gold Coast regions, followed by the logan and south to north Brisbane region and later further North. At the same time,  expanding to the southern end of the Gold Coast past the Qld border including the Northern Rivers to Ballina and beyond in NSW. Other locations in Australia will also be considered according to their geographical position, member interest and instructor availability.

What sets AIMA's (Australian Institute of Martial Arts) apart from other martial art schools and systems is that firstly, we deliver an original Kung Fu system that was developed for both Self-defence skills and life skills adhering to self preservation and refinement, allowing for the development of ones own Kung-fu.  Also, it maintains building foundations and sound principles and methodologies with the use of philosophical concepts and moral and ethical standards, a true original and complete system of Kung-fu. However, most importantly to AIMA as a leading indudtry player, our programs are unique and flexible, developed with a contemporary approach to suit our current times and any changes encountered in the future.

Secondly, as an industry leader and Institute of martial arts we are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of practice, constantly researching and refining the system with the purpose of keeping the art alive and growing in a flexible manner constantly updated if neccessary, enabling the art to survive and thrive, evolving with the times.
