Kids Animal Style Kung-Fu Program
The Kids Animal Style Kung-Fu Program consists of an exciting Kung-Fu Curriculum based on the four basic Wu Chi Animal Styles. The Tiger, Crane, Eagle and the mythical Dragon, each have their own specific Curriculum. The Kids classes are separated into 5 age groups. Little Tigers 3 – 5 yrs, Junior Tigers 6 – 8 yrs, Junior Cranes 9-11 yrs, Teen Eagles 12-14 yrs and Dragons 15-17 yrs.
These curriculums are a great foundation for advancing through to adults training. All the fundamentals learnt while advancing through to the different animal styles assist the junior student to increase their training development potential. The earlier the student begins the better, the different animal styles aim at enhancing their age group skills and as they advance their skills will grow and improve with each different group.
A friendly but firm disciplinary approach is taken with all students so as to maintain proper classroom safety measures while promoting moral and ethical values and motivating individuals to build confidence and self-esteem.
The Juniors and Teens are also privy to join the Supplementary and Short Programs available to them at a certain age according to each specific program. The particular Short Program available specifically for Juniors and Teens only is the Junior Weaponry program for ages 6 yrs to 15 yrs. Kids 12 yrs + can join the Supplementary and other Short program classes, usually recommended for additional strengthening, conditioning and fitness in general. Also we recommend juniors and teens to participate in the Tournament and Demonstration programs as an enhancement to their training and specifically for those wanting to compete or simply develop more confidence performing in public.
